...for the first time in two days, as the photos indicate, the sun has come out. It is ominously quiet--the birds have started chirping again, fish can be seen sporadically seen and, believe it or not, the tree across the river that we have been watching burn at its base all day is still standing--this old fella has been our watch guard all day, as the Idaho crew assigned to our part of the world have been debating when and where the old guy will finally fall.



So, all is well for the moment; but this is Montana where moments are just that--things can change radically before you can, even if you are wearing a swim suit.
Back to the hoses--fround one completed with the entire perimeter; round two in next.
