11:00 p.m. Monday: It's a Wrap, Folks!!

Miracles of miracles (thank you, Granny K!!), the monsoonish-like storm that was billed to be here simply went awol--the nicest non-event of my 60 year life!!

Reliable sources to Der Blog confirmed an hour ago that, yes, indeed, "the fire she has layed down" and, unless something really wackey happens (like a forest fire, I suppose), this party is over for this Monday night (and perhaps forever for us)--what a nice thought to now go to bed by.

Thank you all for your wonderful emails, heart-warming thoughts and well-answered prayers--there is a lot to be learned from going through something like this, the keynote of which is that, when the goodness side of man is appropriately tapped, good things do happen to good people and vica versa.

Thanks again (and again, and again...) to all of the great I.A. folks who are out patroling the shores of Rock Creek until 1:30 this soon-tobe-comingTuesday morning--without you there would be no Rock Creek for the rest of us to enjoy and there sure would have been a lot of tears in Extravaganzaland!!

Good night all; bless each and every one of you that has followed this now epic story of ours.

Best from a calm and cool Rock Creek,

RCR
